ECI Memorandum of Understanding with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ΑΜΝΑ)
The Institute creates strategic alliances with Public Interest Bodies, in order to achieve our common goals.
The Athens-Macedonian News Agency is one of the strongest information poles in Southeastern Europe, the second largest news hub in Greece and an important actor in the promotion of national and European goals. As a primary information resource, it plays a prominent role in quality communication in the country, as it feeds Greece and the World with information and news, either in the form of professional subscription services or based on the open and freely accessible by all News Stream.
As an important pole of Communication, it has been cooperating for many years with the European Communication Institute, having co-organized a number of open events, seminars and joint actions with ERT and the Representation of the European Parliament in Greece. ΑΜΠΕ also participates in the initiative of the European Institute of Communication (ECI) “Citizen Literacy“, which researches and disseminates the perception that a better society is possible through the systematic education of young (and not only) citizens in the skills of a technologically demanding world with complex principles of governance, but also a humanistic consciousness.
ECI is proud of its New Charter Partner and is pleased to announce their first joint Project with implementation sites in Athens and Vienna: Project ‘FrontPage’.
The collaboration includes educational initiatives, plus a partnership in projects of common orientation that will be presented gradually.
