FrontPage – First Project Team Meeting
The FrontPage team of the European Institute of Communication had its first meeting, with the aim of forming a working core that will implement the project.
The trio of the initiative includes two more bodies: The Athens-Macedonian News Agency, in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation that connects the two institutions and the group of distinguished visual artists Axionart.
The Project concerns the “Meeting” of Communicators with the Visual Artists, with the central theme of the “Headlines” of Websites, Newspapers, Audiovisual Media and not only.
The call will motivate visual artists to create inspired by “Headlines” and Communicators to create around the same axis.
The two “worlds” will meet in the context of both the Electronic Exhibition and the “physics”, which will take place in a well-known place in Athens, in the spring of 2023.
All this, under the general title – slogan “FrontPage: The Art of News”.
The meeting was co-coordinated collectively by the Group, with the participation of the painter Eva Maragaki, who will be the curator of the entire artistic part of the work.
FrontPage Project Manager took over the Art Curator and member of the ECI Julia Sysalova.
The members of the Project’s Core Team include, in alphabetical order, Dimitris Alexopoulos, Evangelos Eleftheriou, Giannis Zevgolis, Babis Loukopoulos, Eva Maragaki, Mario Nottas, Julia Sysalova, Eva Tsaropoulou.
