Andreas M. Panagopoulos has been a journalist since 1990. He organized and directed the Greek online edition of CNN Greece, created the first Multimedia Hub in Greece for the production of multimedia content in digital publications. He served as News Director of ANT1 TV from 2009 to July 2015. He reorganized the information site of ANT1 and was awarded for two consecutive years for Integrated Reporting (Dime Awards). He was an political editor, chief political – economic reporting editor and chief editor for 25 years. He presented a show for the Olympic Games in the four-year period 2000-2004, was a news caster and a radio producer. He collaborated with the newspapers PROTO THEMA, EXPRESS, Evening and wrote in many magazines. It contributes to the news of ANA-MPA.
He has been awarded the Botsis Foundation Award (2013). Since November 2014 he is a PhD candidate at the School of Journalism and Mass Media Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. (June 2014). He graduated with Honors and received an Honorary Distinction as a primary in his year. He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (B.A). His scientific papers have been published in international conferences and scientific journals.
Since 2016 he has been teaching courses in Journalism and New Technologies at the PGPs of the European Communication Institute.
