Kostas Kyriakopoulos

Kostas Kyriakopoulos is a journalist specializing in Digital Development and Online Media Management. Born in Piraeus in 1967, he started his career in 1989 at the newspaper “Eleftherotypia”, where he remained until 2013 in various positions of responsibility, the most recent being the management of its online publication, the historical www.enet.gr. He has studied Journalism and Communication and holds a Master of Arts in “Quality Journalism and New Technologies”. He was the director of the Organisation for the Collective Management of Literary Works (OSDEL) and editorial director of www.cnn.gr and www.ethnos.gr. He taught extensively “Print Investigative Journalism” at the ‘Professional Journalism Lab’. He has lectured to students of Panteion University and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has taught on the continuous transformations of journalism in the digital environment. Since 2016 he is a member of the teaching – scientific staff of ECI.
