Botsi  <\/a><\/b>(charitable body co-supervised by the Ministry of Education),<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with a Special Cooperation Protocol with the National and <strong>Kapodistrian University of Athens &#8211; NKUA<\/strong>, the <strong>Association of Journalists of Owners of Periodical Press &#8211; EDIPT<\/strong> and the <strong>Athens Macedonian News Agency &#8211; AMNA.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ECI&#8217;s mission is to improve Communication between the European North and The South, at the citizen level, through Postgraduate Studies \/ Research and Initiatives that promote European Integration. It is intended for students with achievements and careers in progress, creating networks of graduates with high cohesion and new opportunities for advancement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its students attend courses on both the Athens and Vienna campuses and participate in prestigious and high-profile projects and initiatives that highlight cutting-edge issues for the two societies and the Europe of tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CET<\/strong> <strong> Studies (Communication<\/strong><strong> <strong> &amp; <\/strong> <strong>Emerging<\/strong> <strong>Technologies)<\/strong><strong> are hybrid Postgraduate Programs on subjects defined by the evolving sciences of Technology and Communication.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ECI&#8217;s mission is defined in part of a public announcement made in January 2016 in the Old Parliament building in Athens, Greece, in the presence of state officials and the Association of European Internet Publishers \u2013which is a contractual partner of the Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Communication Institute is also institutionally supported by a number of public bodies in both countries, the most prominent ones being the European Parliament (for the academic direction &#8220;Institutions, Communication and European Integration, M.A.&#8221;), the EP Office in Greece, the EU Commission Representation, ERT, the Association of European Journalists, ORF (\u00d6sterreichischer Rundfunk) and others, in a variety of educational activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this purpose, a special unit of knowledge and educational initiatives was created, focusing on Citizen Literacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ECI&#8217;s PGP degrees are awarded by UWK and have full academic recognition in Greece (DOATAP).
