{"id":11764,"date":"2021-03-05T16:21:20","date_gmt":"2021-03-05T14:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=11764"},"modified":"2021-12-19T11:52:54","modified_gmt":"2021-12-19T09:52:54","slug":"european-personalities-in-eci-courses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=11764&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"European personalities in ECI Courses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the recent &#8216;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=11916&#038;lang=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Institutions Communication &amp; European Integration<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216; courses, where, in early March 2021, -among others- we were fortunate enough to have<\/span> <b>Commissioner Margaritis Schinas<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">greet the ECI Community, another intensive period of the ICEI Master of Arts came to completion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the structured participation of the teacher and <\/span><b>MEP mag. Anna Michelle Asimakopoulou<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, we had the honor of the following face-to-face contributions:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Address by the <\/span> <b>First Vice-President of the European Parliament<\/b> <b>Roberta Metsola<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presentation by <\/span><b>MEP and publisher Giorgos Kyrtsos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on the subject of the European Budget procedure and the role of the MEPs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presentation by the <\/span> <b>Head of the External Relations Unit of the European Parliament Research Service (EPRS) Ms Elena Lazarou, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in relation to the EPRS, and her role in the Work of the European Parliament \/ MEPs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the same module, <\/span><b>mag. Spyros Kapralos&#8217;  <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> course started, with the participation of Distinguished Guest, <\/span><b>Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yiannis Smyrlis<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, head of International Economic Relations and Extroversion.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Saturday concluded with the <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">excellent in composition lecture by<\/span><strong> Dr. George Archontas, <\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that systematizes our knowledge on the European Institutions.
