{"id":12625,"date":"2022-09-26T17:51:50","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T14:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=12625"},"modified":"2022-10-18T02:04:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-17T23:04:10","slug":"courses-in-vienna-available-online-to-active-citizens-prospective-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=12625&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Courses in Vienna, available online to Active Citizens \/ Prospective Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the week of <b>October 3-7, 2022<\/b>, the English-speaking super-intensive Module 6 for the CET3 and CET4 classes of the ECI Postgraduate Programs in Communication and Technology will take place in person at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.donau-uni.ac.at\/de.html\"><b>UWK University<\/b><\/a> (former DUK), a statutory pillar of ECI in Austria<\/a> (Quality Journalism, Content and Strategy, Humanitarian Communication, European Integration, Psychology and Social Networks).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The interdisciplinary courses, which will be attended in person by postgraduate students and online by guests, focus on the following topics (in brackets the duration of each in teaching hours):<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i>Complexity Science (16h)<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i>Innovation Systems I &amp; II (8h &amp; 8h)<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i>Communication, Participation and Innovation (8h)<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classes will resume being held in person after two years of restrictions due to the pandemic. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the first time, this year the courses will <i>also<\/i> be broadcasted live online, for the participants of the Parallel Program 2022 and not only: <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the context of the ongoing ECI <b><i>Citizen Literacy initiative,<\/i><\/b> the courses are <b>open<\/b> to <b>select interested citizens &#8211; prospective students<\/b> who wish to be exposed to the high-level interdisciplinary subjects on Communication and Technology of the Institute.
