{"id":13002,"date":"2023-01-28T15:03:59","date_gmt":"2023-01-28T13:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=13002"},"modified":"2023-01-28T15:03:59","modified_gmt":"2023-01-28T13:03:59","slug":"commencement-of-new-teaching-period-at-eci","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=13002&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Commencement of New Teaching Period at ECI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On March 3rd<\/strong>, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the new academic year begins<\/span> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?lang=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European Communication Institute<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Synergy of Public European Bodies based in Vienna<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a team of distinguished teachers, based on their great academic experience, but mainly on their continuous contribution to scientific events and their ongoing achievements in the professional axes that have been distinguished, the European Communication Institute proceeds to the integration of new teaching modules, part of its innovative Teaching Program. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In its seventeen-year course in Education, the European Communication Institute (ECI) has awarded more than 140 postgraduate degrees, under the common theme &#8220;Communication &amp; Emerging Technologies&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Focus directions of ECI are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=8500\/\"><b>Quality Jouranlism and New Technologies<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=8580\"><b>Content Management and Communication Strategy<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=10308\/\"><b>Institutions, Communication and European Integration<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=8845\"><b>Humanitarian Communication and New Technologies<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=10000\"><b>Psychology and Social Networks<\/b><\/a><b> <\/b><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=12797&#038;lang=en\"><b>Geopolitics, Communication and New Technologies<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The above 6th direction (Master of Arts &#8211; Geopolitics Communication and New Technologies) is offered in collaboration with<\/span> the <a href=\"https:\/\/elisme.gr\/programma-metaptychiakon-spoydon-m-a-geopolitiki-epikoinonia\/?fbclid=IwAR1C_ZtYpldVCPZaimsKJkJRjacC2m1LbdG4THcOCYjr9Anlkn1lO91Ckt0\"><b>Hellenic Institute for Strategic Studies<\/b><\/a> and <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> complements the Thematic <\/span><b><i>Communication and Emerging Technologies<\/i><\/b>, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which ECI implements as a strategic study objective<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respectively, the 3rd direction (Master of Arts &#8211; Institutions Communication and European Integration) has the  <\/span><b>Institutional Support for the European Parliament Office in Greece,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  to fulfill the mission of the Institute which is the improved Communication of the European North &#8211; South, at the level of citizens, through Postgraduate Studies \/ Research and Initiatives that promote European Integration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The courses are attended in the framework of a <\/span><b>specially designed program for professionals<\/b>, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with part-time hybrid attendance, remote and physical meetings, in Athens and Vienna. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two courses during the bilingual PGP are implemented <\/span> on the campus of the Austrian State University Universit\u00e4t <b>f\u00fcr Weiterbildung Krems \u2013 UWK, (formerly Donau Universit\u00e4t Krems \u2013<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DUK), which is a statutory Pillar of the ECI<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of its mission and in response to pressing social problems, ECI has created a special module of knowledge and educational initiatives, focusing on <\/span><b>CitizenLiteracy<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 term coined by ECI<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also,in the past two years, ECI (European Communication Institute) has established the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?page_id=12943&#038;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <b>Parallel Program<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, opening its Knowledge and Directions to those interested in attending lectures, workshops and round tables, either as a simple education, or as part of a structured continuing education program, for which a certificate of studies and\/or (in case of participation in the examination period) certification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, looking to the future, but also due to the special conditions in a period of economic recovery in Greece, the European Communication Institute offers  <\/span><b>Special financial aids<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  in the form of scholarships, as well as ways to support the weakest financially, including payment by instalments,  <\/span><b><i>Work Your Master, <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with the sponsorship \/ support of the Communication Market, and partial funding, through aids &#8211; scholarships given by the collaborating pillars of the ECI (Athanasios Vas.
