The closely collaborating body of ECI <\/span>OpinionPost (DNews)<\/i><\/b>stands out again, among the measured Greek media. The institution has been in an MoC (\u039cemorandum of Cooperation) status with the Institute since 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The UofOxford \/ Reuters Report (<\/span>Digital News Report <\/b>for <\/span>Greece here<\/b><\/a>) covers the state of the media around the world and is published annually in June.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We remind you that the news site <\/span>Dnews.gr<\/b><\/a>, member of the online news media group <\/span>\u201cOpinionpost\u201d<\/b><\/a>, was declared the most authoritative media, according to the <\/span>Digital News Report 2023,<\/b> <\/a>by <\/span>Reuters<\/b><\/a> and the <\/span>University of Oxford,<\/b><\/a> for both 2021 and 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In 2017, the <\/span>European Communication Institute<\/b><\/a> signed a Memorandum of Understanding with “Opinionpost” and, as an Official Supporter of ECI, the company has funded scholarships for its students, while it has staffed several of them with its staff. It is noted that the President and CEO Mr. <\/span>Sotiris Beskos<\/b><\/a> is one of the distinguished students of the Institute. <\/span> <\/p>\n <\/p>\n As of March 2023, Opinion Post is the new member in the <\/span>Internet Publishers Association (ENED)<\/b><\/a>, in order to contribute to Union initiatives to upgrade the institutional framework for the functioning of the internet market, for the benefit of all parties, to create a healthy environment of quality and free competition for all online Mass Media and their employees. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is recalled that the <\/span>Code of Ethics of ENED, <\/i><\/b>which constitutes the Self-Commitment Framework of the major information media in Greece, <\/span>has been drafted by ECI<\/b>, in the context of a research project supported by ENED in which researchers and students of the QJNT5 (Quality Journalism and New Technologies 5) department participated, under the supervision of the current DPO of ERT and graduate of ECI, <\/span>Vasilis Vasilopoulos.<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dnews <\/span>is<\/b> a modern Greek information site, which monitors and records developments in Greece and the world, under terms and conditions of usability and quality journalism. <\/span>It is also distinguished as a website that provides in a reliable and valid way any information concerning citizens’ transactions with the state, as well as all social benefits and benefits that concern all social and age groups. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The <\/span>Digital News Report<\/b>, for 2023, ranked <\/span>Dnews<\/b> first in the <\/span>Weekly Reach Online<\/span> and by far first in the <\/span> <\/span> Brand Trust Score.<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Opinionpost” has in its portfolio since 2012 dikaiologitika.gr, Dnews, as well as the medical site <\/span>News4health<\/b>, while recently it added Theissue, <\/span><\/b><\/b><\/a> an online magazine that focuses on women. The company is also active in the regional press, having undertaken the content of the electronic edition of the newspaper <\/span>“Peloponnese”<\/b> (<\/span>pelop.gr<\/span><\/a>). <\/span> <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is noted that ECI has similar Memoranda of Understanding with bodies such as <\/span>Athens Macedonian News Agency <\/b>(AMNA), the <\/span>University of Athens<\/b> (Faculty of Theology), <\/span>EDIPT<\/b> (Association of Journalists Owners of Periodical-Regional Press) and the public benefit organization <\/span>Athens Calls Athens,<\/b> among others, by implementing a network of Institutional Partners and supporters of ECI – European Institute of Communication.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Finally, ECI has the Institutional Support of the <\/span> European Parliament Office in Greece<\/b> for its Master of Arts Program “<\/span>Institutions Communication and European Integration M.A.<\/b>“, while an MoC is currently being drafted with the <\/span>Association of European Journalists (AEJ).<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The closely collaborating body of ECI OpinionPost (DNews)stands out again, among the measured Greek media.
