In the packed hall of the European Parliament Office in Athens, this year’s \u201cFrontPage\u201d events ended on Monday, May 26, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The actions were co-signed by <\/span> the European Institute of Communication <\/b>and the <\/span> European Parliament Office <\/b>in Greece<\/b><\/a>, with the collaboration <\/span> of the Athens-Macedonian News Agency<\/b>, <\/span>AxionArt <\/b>and <\/span> the Institute of Mediterranean Culture (IMC).<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

At exactly 17:00, the guests wondered why the speakers in <\/span> the Ceremony Hall of the \u201cHouse of the European Parliament in Greece\u201d, of exceptional aesthetics, were \u201cplaying\u201d \u201c<\/span>The Steamer from Persia<\/b>\u201d. <\/span> <\/b> <\/p>\n

The smiles were followed by the clarification of the <\/span>Anchor<\/b> of the evening bulletin of <\/span> One Channel, Iliana Koularmani,<\/b> who, from a microphone, \u201cconnected\u201d the \u201cSteamer\u201d by Tsitsanis, with Journalism, i.e. Art with Communication, as well as the issues connected by the \u201cFrontPage\u201d initiative. <\/span> <\/p>\n

The lyrics chosen by the late creator were nothing more than the <\/span>metaphor of the Headlines of the time<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Koularmani passed the floor to the head of the European Institute of Communication <\/span>Mr. Mario Notta <\/b>that prefaced the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the events, the <\/span>ECI<\/b> and the <\/span>Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa<\/b> co-signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. <\/span> <\/p>\n

In collaboration with the European Parliament Office in Greece, the EDIPT (Association of Journalists and Magazine Press Owners) and the Organizers of FrontPage, presented their upcoming actions regarding the launch <\/span>of a Postgraduate Program for Balkan Communicators<\/b> based in Naoussa, as well as in <\/span>scientific meetings \/ Conference<\/b>, in November 2026. At the same time, a Balkan version of the project is being examined. <\/span>FrontPage<\/i><\/b>‘ for May 2026, in Thessaloniki.<\/span><\/p>\n

The information was made online by the Mayor of the Heroic City of Naoussa <\/span>Mr. Nikos Koutsoyiannis,<\/b> while the Municipality was represented in the hall by the Deputy Mayor for Education, Youth and Sports<\/span> Mr. Stelios Dagas<\/b> and the journalist Mr. <\/span>Chrysovalanti Liolios<\/b>, publisher and special associate of the Mayor of Naoussa, graduate of the European Institute of Communication. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Two groups of students from Greek universities (Panteion, Law, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics), coordinated by the ECI expert <\/span>Mr. Manolis Polychronidis, <\/b>with rules that were fully respected and with the attendees \u201cevaluating\u201d the opinions electronically, they faced each other in a debate that \u201cput opposite\u201d: <\/span><\/p>\n

The beginning was made by two \u201cpushers\u201d, setting the tone for the students and having diametrically opposed views. The solid knowledge of the subject was the distinguished leader for seven years <\/span>DPO \/ Data Protection Officer <\/b>of the Ministry of Digital Governance, <\/span>Dr. Athanasios Kosmopoulos<\/b> advocating for the Control of Disinformation and the also <\/span> distinguished journalist<\/b> and advocate of the unhindered Eleftherotypia, <\/span>member of Reporters United,<\/b> Mr. <\/span>Thodoris Chondrogiannos<\/b>. <\/span> <\/p>\n
