{"id":9336,"date":"2019-10-03T07:44:30","date_gmt":"2019-10-03T07:44:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=9336"},"modified":"2019-11-07T08:06:09","modified_gmt":"2019-11-07T08:06:09","slug":"our-campus-city-in-an-eci-documentary-bridging-krems-to-naoussa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eci-org.eu\/?p=9336","title":{"rendered":"Our Campus City in an ECI Documentary bridging Krems to Naoussa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">On 8 and 9 December 2018, the premiere of the documentary &#8216;<em><strong>So far, so close<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;, featuring the common characteristics between the Greek town of Naousa, of Imathia and the one of Krems, Austria, took place at the premises of the cultural centre of Naousa, &#8221;Christos Lanaras&#8221;.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">The film is part of the dissertation\/thesis of the journalist and post- graduate student of the Master of Arts Programme, &#8221;Quality Journalism and New Technologies&#8221;,\u00a0<em><strong>Valantis Liolios<\/strong><\/em>, aiming\u00a0 to compare and explore the cultural bonds that link the two towns, giving emphasis on their wine events, the so called &#8220;Kazania&#8221; from the Greek part and the &#8220;Heurigens&#8221; from the Austrian part. Secondly, to underline the cultural heritage of Krems and its transformation of the old tobacco factory to a role model public University, looking for ways similar sized cities could benefit from similar initiatives.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">Many exceptional guests from the Austrian community and the Municipality \/ University of Krems atte<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">nded the event, such as the Consul of Austria,\u00a0<strong>mrs. Evelyn Papadopoulos<\/strong>, the member of the Council and president of the Krems Association of Wineries, Mr\u00a0<strong style=\"outline: currentcolor none 0px; color: #222222; font-size: 15px; text-align: justify;\">Martin Sedelmaier<\/strong><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px; text-align: justify;\">, the member of the Senate of DUK University.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"outline: currentcolor none 0px; color: #222222; font-size: 15px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>mag.
