A Different Start of Semester at ECI

Formal Opening this weekend for the new academic semester, at the European Institute of Communication.

 

In the ceremonial part, professors and staff of the Institute will greet, and the Father Dr. Aristarchos Grekas “live” from the church of Agia Skepi in Papagou (P. Dr. A. Grekas is heading the direction “Humanistic Communication & New Technologies”) and the Lecturer and Scientific Associate of ECI, will speak, Mag. Maria Karaklioumi, also known as RASS Policy Analyst.

 

 

As always, there will be no shortage of surprises, with a short Creative Event.

 

On Saturday, September 23, at 10:00 we start our welcome speech, while at 11:00, ECI opens its door to Europe and hosts the Strategy and Communication Consultant / research associate of the Institute mag. George Bekatoros, which will proceed to the second part of the course Political Management and Public Affairs”, focusing this time on “EU Lobbying”.

 

 

On Sunday 24 September, at 10:00, in our interdisciplinary direction, the Dr. Dimitris Papacharalambous opens a new chapter in “Representation of Mass Media in Cinema”, while in the afternoon at 15:00, o Rhetorical Art Instructor – Political Scientist Mr. Manolis Polychronidis teaches us how to make our audience want more, as part of the course “Rhetoric, Public Discourse and Communication”.

 

 

ECI has created – and has been operating since last year – a special knowledge module and educational initiatives, focusing on Citizen Literacy – term coined by ECI (https://eci-org.eu/?p=13076), which allows participation and interaction in the courses, with prominent members of the ECI community and beyond.

 

In this context, apart from students, those interested can attend this training weekend at ECI which is part of the Master (M.A.) Curricula of the Institute.
